I would describe Amanda Wakely‘s collection during London Fashion Week as “soft rock.” Her clothes looked cool and comfortable, with a focus on using warm colored jersey material and a draping effect to clothe the models strutting down the runway. What caught my eye was the way jewelry designer Maria Francesca Pepe’s Serpentine necklaces was used, which added the “rock” element to the collection. Maria’s pieces were utilized very wisely, as the serpentine necklace is very versatile. It can be worn as a one, two, or three ringed choker, it can hang at chest level or below, or even be used as a belt. I can definitely see myself wearing most of the outfits in this collection!
