NYFW Street Style by Yours Truly…Part I

I had an absolute blast snapping pictures of the fashionistas (and -‘os) strutting in and out of the Lincoln Center for Mercedez Benz Fashion Week (although I did feel a little paparazzi-ish, I’m not gonna lie). I even had the opportunity to attend one of the shows (more on that later) and ran into some of my favorite fashion bloggers. Shooting streetsyle is something I’ve really enjoyed doing the past couple weeks, and its been a great way to meet some of the most dedicated and inspirational people in the fashion industry. As far as the outfits I noticed a lot of mixed prints, collar necklaces and color blocking. Check it out!

T.V. host and model Jackie Miranne. She nails the monochromatic look by incorporating   different fabric textures, adding layers (LOVE that zara jacket!) and topping it all off with those standout frames. I might just have to copycat this!

Designer brothers behind the brand BruceGlen definitely stood out in the crowd! They’re also from our neck of the woods, the DMV (aka DC/MD/VA) area. The duo actually designed the bags they’re carrying. How cool is that?

That top is a must have.

One of our favorite DMV bloggers (and huge Bisoux Jewelry supporter!) Tamika Wilkins of My Designer Dreams and and Dana J. of the blog  Skinny Girls Like To Eat Too. I’m digging that printed skirt on Dana and the layered necklaces on Tamika.

Many of the photographers were just as fashionable as the MBFW attendees!

Veronica of the blog Bittersweet Colours. I need that cobalt blue bag!

I love Maria Francisca Rocha’s top of People En Espanol! I owe her a big thanks, she wasn’t able to make it to the  Naeem Khan show and gave me her ticket! More on that later =)

A simple, chic look that will never go out of style.

Two of my favorite bloggers EVER, Kelly of The Glamourai and Jamie Beck of From Me to You. They were soooo sweet and humble, in addition to being super talented in their respective fields (Kelly is a stylist and Jamie is a photographer and co-founder of the cinemagraph). Together they make magic like this.

I love everything about this look. Top to bottom.

Thats all for now! Stay tuned for Part II tomorrow.
