Sister, my friend Jaz and I went out last weekend for brunch at Dos Segundos and ran into a street festival going on full of vendors selling various one of a kind accessories and handmade crafts on a sunny sunday afternoon. One vendor that really stood out was Jacques & Elixar, this booth was filled with so many well made, one of a kind reworked vintage goodies I had to feature her in a post, and as promised…ta da! I walked out with a reworked vintage bracelet with a cool geometric design, a byzantine-inspired ring I will probably wear forever, and an embellished bullet necklace. I’m absolutely in love with all my pieces!!! Check them out below =)

LOVE the above bracelet I bought! A vintage nameplate reworked into gold linked bracelet with a cool geometric pattern overtop. Unfortunatley I lost it at a concert sunday night, I’m still hoping it magically reapears into my life somehow (insert sad face here).

Sarah Jessica Parker rockin’ the bilateral cuff trend with Fred Leighton victorian cuff bangles, looks good on her!

I love how Rachel Zoe paired a huge tribal necklace with her fringe gown, and Victoria’s Secret model Karolina Kurkova looks amaze balls in this ensemble Rachel designed.

Spotted this lovely lady at an outdoor festival we went to yesterday. I was trying to take the pics “incognito-style” but she spotted me (check the last pic). She was actually modeling the body jewelry for one of the vendors (and I cannot for the life of me find the business card she gave me!). I hope she sees this post so I can update it with the information! Come on universe! 

So the stars aligned and our subject, who goes by the name of Alicia,  was modeling jewelry for Independent Accents, a budget-friendly boutique who specializing in body jewelry (nice!!). Check them out HERE!

His photos feel so raw, with an element of high fashion but grounded in his roots; and his subjects always have a sort of edge to them that draws you in.
