The Armor Jewelry line by Sandee Shin has hit the fashion scene by storm, showcasing some of the most  avant-garde pieces around since its launch in 2009.  Shin’s collection is sexy, artistic, and expressive. Each piece dares to propel an otherwise drag ensemble into a high fashion designer look. Check out some of my favorites!

Karen of WhereDidUGetThat.Com

My new obsession is shopping online!!! I love running into these awesome  jewelry sites selling body adornments- a new trend I haven’t seen enough fashionistas rocking.   I ran across  Damesf.com while browsing through a newly discovered blog called “Where Did U Get That”; written by a uniquely stylish London beauty named Karen.  I stumbled upon her post “Heady“  and fell in love with her head adornment from Dame. I clicked on the link and to my gratification Dame has an eclectic collection of  various head and body embellishments.  Their use of chains to drape the shoulders, arms, and back are will satisfy both the boho chic and punk girl within you.  I wanted everything I saw! Check out some of my favs below!

Trend Alert! Shoulder Jewelry!

Trend Alert! Shoulder Jewelry is going mainstream! Whooo hooo! And I LOVE it! Everyone from country music star Carrie Underwood to pop diva Rihanna are rockin’ them. We’ve been diggin’ this look since we saw the Litter girls sporting them. We then saw shoulder jewelry featured on Jean Paul Gaultier’s Haute Couture Runway, and now everyone  is trying to incorporate the trend in their every day ensembles. These chains look great on tank tops, jackets/blazers, and strapless dresses. Check out some of the looks below…

Carrie Underwood at the Superbowl

Riri (of course)

Nathalie Portman-Love her!

Try it on a strapless dress like Nathalie above, during a shoot for  V Magazine

Or like Cassie did for her shoot promoting Dime Piece’s Fall 2009 collection

Adam Lambert

And look, the men are in on it too! Haha…

Here are some more looks, got most of these from Littersf.com and Style.com

Jean Paul Gaultier’s S/S 2010 Haute Couture Collection’s Accessories

Definetly one of my favs of the S/S 2010 Couture Runways was Jean Paul Gautier! There was a serious “urban warrior” vibe going on here, and my chrystal ball is forecasting that shoulder jewelry is gonna blow up this season! Also, watch out for slave bracelets! These are bracelets that connect from the wrist to the fingers via chains (check them out in the image gallery below). Stacked bangles were also in full effect!

I couldn’t help but think the Jean Paul crew got some of their inspiration for this collection from Mel Gibson’s movie Apocalypto, particularly from the scene where the captures are going through the city. I see a lot of jade and beads. Compare the pics below!

Do you see the similarity? Loves it! Check out the gallery for more!
