These are a couple pics I snapped at Ariel Publicity’s Digital Press Conference event we attended last week, featuring Trew Music whose music video, “The Incredible, Fantastic Experience” we styled. Networking is super important in this industry, and we had such a blast meeting other talented artists, sitting in on press interviews and watching performances by other up and comming indie musicians! Being in a house full of talented people living out their dream is incredibly uplifting. The event was hosted in a one of a kind row home in Brooklyn. The decor deserved a post in itself, as the house was filled with playful accents like a chalkboard wall in the kitchen, various vintage lunch box arrangements (Ariel is a collector), a vintage pac man video game machine and one of a kind art work. Check out the pics below!

Candid shot of Sister/ co-owner of Bisoux Jewelry!!!
Graphic designer extrodinaire and homie for life, Stephan came out to support!

The Trew Crew! This was after I ambushed his interview.

Music video director Cezil of BAPartists and I on the rooftop. He is an amazing talent and serious about his craft! We used to watch Spike Lee movies together, and now he’s making movies! So cool.

Stephanie modeling our beloved, extra large maassai earrings we copped via kokosoultice at an event a while back.

Super talented Trew performing at the event, prior to his video being released. He totally KILLED it!!! Trew’s music is in a category of its own with a hip hop base and a touch of electronica. It keeps me pumped up when I’m working out (yeah whenever that happens…) and cleaning (more likely to be happening…but honestly not so much either) or just out for a ride. He teamed up with an electric guitarist and it was…magic. Check out the performance on his facebook page HERE, and download his mixtape HERE <—a must.

Stephanie reppin’ that BISOUX!!! What ya’ll know about that???

Find me on instagram @VanessaBisoux and twitt-a!

The typical bathroom shot. I couldn’t help myself.

Cezil of BAPartists again, cheesin’ per usual!!!

Sorry Trew, couldn’t figure out how to photoshop the sweat but I think it just proves what a passionate performer you are ;-P
That is all
